Section 8 waiting lists will be open on August 5, 2019.

Section 8 is a program designed to assist those Low Income families with the cost of renting housing. The family pays a rent of 30% of their income to their landlord and the Housing Authority pays the difference.

Applications to be placed on the waiting list are taken at our office. Once an applicant is called up from the waiting list, it is the responsibility of the applicant to find appropriate rental housing with a landlord who is willing to work with the program.
